About Braden Mills, NCCPA

Braden Mills, NCCPA is a physician assistant Board Certified by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Braden is a member of the Virginia Academy of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician assistants. He is currently licensed to practice by the Virginia Board of Medicine. 

Braden’s passion for the field of neurology began while studying at Virginia Tech where he graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Neuroscience. He then received his Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree from Radford University Carilion in Roanoke, VA. While training to become a physician assistant, Braden gained experience in diagnosing and treating many neurologic conditions including strokes, Alzheimer’s, migraines, multiple sclerosis and more while rotating at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He also gained experience while rotating with interventional radiology pain management specialists who treated conditions including peripheral neuropathies, back and neck injuries, spinal pathologies, musculoskeletal/joint pains, and chronic pain. Braden has extensive prior work experience in the field of physical therapy as well, where he spent time helping numerous patients with their rehabilitation for a variety of neurologic and orthopedic conditions. 

When Braden is not practicing and learning about medicine, He likes to spend time with his family and friends. He also enjoys snowboarding, surfing, and hiking whenever he can.
